1. Revival of dry & dysfunctional rainwater harvesting wells across the District of Gurugram. Different stakeholders constructed these wells in the pre-covid era to jumpstart rainwater harvesting initiative. The project however was put on halt due to corona crisis due to which most of the wells became dysfunctional. With FII’s intervention, these wells shall be revived to their optimum functional levels, and will be maintained by Mission Jaldhara’s Team of contractors. The location of every well shall be provided through Google maps and can be easily accessed by donors and interested parties. We welcome Corporates to become a part of this movement and adopt wells to support Mission Jaldhara. Alternatively, corporates can support via CSR donations and FII shall maintain the wells on their behalf.

2. Revival of rural water ecosystem bodies in and around District Gurugram. Gurugram is touching close to entering Black Zone in ground water table. We are soon headed for a water crisis if immediate action is not taken. This not only affects the agricultural economy of Haryana but also day-to-day life of city dwellers. FII has planned a strategic revival of rural ponds and other water bodies to be able to provide clean and usable water to villages around Gurugram. This will not only improve the groundwater table levels but will also bring a relief to people residing in these villages.

It is time for us to join hands and come together to revive Jaldhara in Gurugram. Remember, the time is now! “Jal hai to Jeevan hai”
